Technical Support Specialist (Azure Cloud)

This position demands technical expertise in system monitoring and support. You will implement robust monitoring tools, manage incident response efficiently, perform in-depth RCA analysis, proactively prevent issues, and utilize SLA management techniques to ensure outstanding technical support and customer satisfaction.

Work

For this position, we seek a candidate with previous experience in IT Support or Site Reliability, who demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members. Other responsibilities would include: Implement proactive monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, etc.). Manage incidents, provide detailed documentation, and create runbooks Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for streamlined deployments Manage complex cloud-based Azure infrastructure (VMs, App Services, Databases, etc.) Write SQL/Postgres queries for troubleshooting and insights Utilize scripting to automate tasks and optimize efficiency Create and maintain detailed technical documentation Build and operate highly available, scalable, and reliable production systems in the cloud We are looking for a person with the following experience: Excellent IT skills (MS OS, MS Server OS, MS SQL Server, etc.) Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) Knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform Proficiency in using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for troubleshooting and performance tuning Strong understanding of virtual networking concepts including Virtual Networks (VNets) Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, managing code repositories (Git), and automating deployments Knowledge of configuration and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is an advantage Knowledge of containerization and distributed systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage Familiarity with ISO 27001/27017/27018 standards is a plus. Experience in programming would be preferred Microsoft Azure Certification would be an advantage Desire to learn and deepen knowledge with provided training Very good communication and English skills – written and spoken.
